The children-and youthnetwork would like to enable you the access to documenta 12 and its contents. Art and an international Art exhibition is not something for adults only-but the documenta is also quite interesting for children and young people. We would like to encourage you to find your own access to the documenta, to get active and creative – to do something! Your opinion and your answers to the questions What is the sheer life?, Education-what to do? or Is the Modernity our antiquity? is what inerests us. We provide room to transform your ideas and your projects.
We support you in the transformation of your ideas and your projects plans and connect children-and youth activities in the context of the documenta 12. With the netzWERKstatt at the Steinweg we provide rooms in the citycentre for activities, presentations, workshops and exhibitions. The children-and youthnetwork's cityplanposter indicates interesting places and dates for children and young people in the documenta-summer. Here on this website everyone can inform themselves about the current projects, exhibitions and workshops. Besides you can present your own projects.
For the projectbased exhibitionvisits the children-and youthnetwork would like to provide explorertickets for children-and youth groups. We would like to encourage children and young people to visit the documenta and engage themselves with documenta's contents. As a group you can contact us, present us per e-mail your ideas and questions, which you would like to visit the documenta with.
Afterwards you can publish your experience and your opinion on this website and share it with us and the other young people and children.
On Saturday, the 22.September, so one day before the end of the documenta 12, will take place a big celebration and the final presentation in the children – and youthnetwork's netzWERKstatt.
